Arthur Emlen Newbold
Banker and broker; born in Jenkintown, Montgomery County, Pa., Aug. 5, 1859; son of John S. and Anna P. (Buckley) Newbold. His education was received in the West Penn Square and the Episcopal Academies, of Philadelphia, and in the University of Pennsylvania to the sophomore year in the class of 1879. Mr. Newbold married Harriet, daughter of Fitz Eugene Dixon. He engaged in the stock brokerage business in 1878 and is now a banker and broker in Philadelphia, in the firm of Drexel & Company. Mr. Newbold is a member of the Philadelphia, Rittenhouse, Racquet, Country, Philadelphia Cricket and Huntingdon Valley Clubs. While in college he became a member of the Philomathean Society and the Zeta Psi fraternity. Address: Laverock, Montgomery County, Pa.
