George C. Hollenbach
George C. Hollenbach, Montgomery county, was born in Montgomery county, Pa., November 7, 1849; worked on a farm and attended public school until the age of thirteen years, when he secured employment as boatman, which he followed for seven years; worked several years as telegraph and railroad repairman; in 1876 he began the mercantile business at Saratoga, Pa., in which he is still engaged; he is also engaged at farming, fruit raising and milling; is a director of the Citizens' National Bank and the Ringing Rocks Electric Railway Company, of Pottstown, Pa., and the American Protective Insurance Company, of Reading, Pa., and is auditor of the township in which he lives; held the position of postmaster at Saratoga, Pa., from 1876 to 1892; was member House of Representatives, session of 1893.
