In the autumn after graduation, I entered the Divinity School of the Protestant Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, where I was graduated in 1898. I was ordained deacon at once, and for rather more than four years served as assistant to William Reed Huntington, '59, at Grace Church, New York. In 1902, I became rector of the Memorial Church of St. Paul, Overbrook, Philadelphia. Six years later (1908), I was called as dean to the Cathedral of our Merciful Saviour, Faribault, Minnesota. My oldest child was severely affected by the climate in Minnesota, and I was therefore glad to accept a call to become rector of the Church of Our Saviour, Jenkintown, Pa., in 1911. There I still am, busy with the usual work of my parish, and interested in a number of the activities of the diocese.
