Henry D. Saylor
Henry D. Saylor. Montgomery county, was born in the borough of Pottstown, Montgomery county, Pa., October 22, 1857; educated in the common schools and graduated at the high school of said borough; read law with Thomas T. Ashton, Esq., and E. Coppee Mitchell, Esq., of Philadelphia; graduated in the law department of the University of Pennsylvania in 1882; admitted to the Philadelphia bar in 1882; to the Montgomery county bar in 1883; has been in active practice of the law since that time; served two terms of three years each, from 1885 to 1891, as a member of the town council of the borough of Pottstown, Pa., and three terms, of one year each, as solicitor thereof, viz: from 1891 to 1893; elected to the Senate November, 1894.
