Ozias-Harley

Miss Irene Harley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas S. Harley, of Quakertown, and Dr. Howard Ozias, of Ambler, son of John Ozias, of Quakertown, were married in the Emanuel Protestant Episcopal Church, Quakertown, by the Rev. Thomas Ege, on Wednesday evening, November 22d. Promptly at six o'clock the bridal party appeared and walked up the aisle toward the altar to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played very beautifully by Miss Mary L. Austin, of Oak Lane. The bride was given away by her father. Following the ceremony the bridal party walked down the aisle to the strains of Wagner's march.

The bride was attired in a handsome gown of white satin, covered with a heavy cream colored net, trimmed with conventional designs of narrow satin ribbons, giving a most beautiful effect of richness. The maid of honor, Miss May Riley, of Wayne, and the maid in waiting, Miss Fredrica Harley, of Quakertown, wore white organdy over taffeta silk, trimmed with lace and insertion. They wore huge bows of Nile green antique velvet at the waist and neck and carried bunches of chrysanthemums. The flower girl, Miss Rachel Haring, was dressed in white mull over white taffeta, trimmed with the velvet. She carried white chrysanthemums. The best man was Rees C. Roberts, of Ambler, and the ushers were Frederick L. Harley and R. Eugene Stoneback, of Quakertown.

A reception to the happy couple was held at the home of the bride's parents, on Broad street, during the evening. The bride and groom received the many congratulations of their friends in an alcove of the parlor beautifully decorated in green and white.

Mr. and Mrs. Ozias left Quakertown later in the evening for New York, whence they will sail for Savannah, Georgia. The bride wore a tailor-made gown of black broadcloth, her hat being of black satin trimmed with wings. The gifts were numerous and handsome.
